it was 85 degrees today so we took the kids for a hike along lake washington.

wednesday is john's pike market day. so we had octopus, potatoes and spinach for dinner. the octopus was not a big hit with the kids.

the day started with homemade gifts from the kids - they make the sweetest things in school. i love them. then opening day of the broadway farmer's market - homemade ice cream. then ruby's soccer game, owen's soccer game and then the warner-king family came over for dinner. a great day.
