avery's very important person day

it was avery's VIP day and we wrote a little story telling about avery's grandparents and how nanu and papa came from australia (even had a photo of papa's pet kangaroo) and how john's parents lived in LA with chickens and a bull dog.

mishy goes to florida

i went solo to sarasota to visit mom and dad. mom is doing amazingly well with 4 chemo treatments done and two to go. the best news is that she had a scan friday and the lymphoma seems to be gone! she has been such a trooper - even playing tennis every day.

dinner with todd & the kids

todd, reiko and whit came over for sunday dinner. we sat out back and had strawberry shortcake for dessert, followed by a walk around the block. we love warm summer nights when its light until 9:00pm.
