the rumpletes family joined us for a picnic and stroll through the amazing gardens.

spring break in palm springs

we took the kids to palm springs. our hotel room opened onto a golf course, which the kids loved and the golfers probably hated.

the grounds of the hotel were gorgeous. gus even found a momma duck & her ducklings and he decided to teach her a few lessons.

joshua tree national park

we drove 60 minutes from palm springs to joshua tree and hiked around with the kids through the huge rocks and they were in heaven.

ruby loved all the wildflowers, she had a book & she kept finding all the flowers in the guide book.

gus watched the big kids swimming and after day 3 said: "i can do it" and made us take off his life jacket and he started swimming.

by the pool

the kids were so happy being in the sun, and they had the best time playing with each other. we finaly realized why we had 4 kids - so they could occupy themselves.
