we took the duck boat tour around seattle - and the kids all took
turns driving the boat!

gus' first week of pre-school

mom and dad & ilana and the kids joined us in lake chelan for a week.

dress-up birthday party

we went to olaf's birthday party at the maritime museum on the waterfront.
this is the closest our kids are allowed to get to the military.

visit from the grais/chan family

jen, ian and the girls (maddie and lulu) came for a visit from vancouver.
we had a fun dinner and a walk to the park. we wish we saw them more often.

ruby attended a roll and roll camp and had a final performance.
they sang and danced to songs from "hair", "tommy" and "cats."

owen's breakfast of champions

owen was chosen to represent montlake at a breakfast for the seattle
public library. he got to bring three members of his family, so ruby, avery,
owen and i were treated to a breakfast at the sheraton.
